Our Story

Surjit Brar founded his company in 2004, originally under the name of SNT Inc. Having spent years driving a truck, Surjit ventured to take the opportunity to start his own transport business. Surjit grew his fleet from a single truck to 35 trucks by 2005. Today, Maverick employs 150+ owner operators and 30 shunt truck operators. Maverick has quickly grown within the transport industry while gaining a diverse plethora of experience within all aspects of the transport industry. Even today, Maverick is a family owned and operated business which treats its customers, staff and drivers as such.

Maverick is multi-divisional transport provider based in Brampton, Ontario. We specialize in providing drayage, freight transport and shunting services either to customers directly or through a 3PL provider. Maverick can adapt accordingly to the unique needs of each customer and integrate seamlessly into the existing framework.
